muse is an AI companion app. You can chat, hear her voice, and request photos. Every character is fully synthetic — generated and animated by AI. Pick from our roster on the Discover page or build your own from scratch in the character creator.

No. Every face, voice, and image on muse is computer-generated. No real performers are recorded or depicted. See the 2257 statement for the formal version.

Open the character creator (Sparkles icon in the sidebar). Five guided steps: gender + style, ethnicity + age, hair + eyes, body, then identity (name, personality, relationship, occupation, kinks, voice, outfit). You see a full preview before anything is finalized.

Different actions cost different amounts:

• Text chat — free with an active premium pass
• SFW photo — 2 credits
• NSFW photo — 5 credits
• Voice message — 3 credits
• Voice call (10 min) — 30 credits
• Live-action video (10s) — 30 credits
• Custom character creation — 250 credits

Credits never expire. Cached audio (replaying a voice clip you already paid for) is free.

A credit pack is a one-time purchase of credits that don't expire. A pass (30 / 90 / 365 day) unlocks NSFW + unlimited text chat for that window AND comes bundled with starter credits. Lifetime is a capped Founder tier — full unlock forever plus 8000 starter credits.

No. Crypto-only means no auto-renew is possible. When your pass expires you can buy a new one — your unused credits stay in your account.

We accept USDC, ETH, MATIC, and BTC. USDC works on Base, Ethereum, and Polygon (including USDC.e). On the credits page you can connect a wallet and pay in one click, or copy the merchant address and send manually from a CEX. We confirm the payment on-chain and credit your account in seconds.

Drop your transaction hash into /credits/recover — the system auto-detects the chain, finds the payment, and credits you. If recovery fails, email support@basedlabs.ai with the tx hash and we'll handle it manually.

Crypto rails mean no card on file, no bank statement, no chargebacks. We see the originating wallet address (so we can credit your account) and the on-chain transaction. We do not collect your real name, billing address, or financial-account info.

Cryptocurrency is final once confirmed on-chain. We do not refund consumed credits or accounts terminated for policy violations. EU and UK consumers retain 14-day statutory withdrawal rights for unconsumed portions of a purchase. Contact support before initiating any payment dispute.

Yes. Chats are tied only to your account, never sold, never shared with advertisers. We don't train models on your chats unless you opt in. Full details in the privacy policy.

Open the chat, tap the three-dot menu in the header, then Reset chat. This wipes all messages with that character but keeps your relationship state. Delete chat removes the conversation entirely from your sidebar.

Go to /account → Delete account. This wipes your chat history, credits, characters you created, and personal data. Some records are retained where required by law (financial records: 10 years; logs: 30 days).
